Dunno; they do horror tackles, get yellow cards and get nothing after that....Lanzini (and De Bruyne) both dodgy fouls and may get 2 match bans.

I'm glad you put this up. If anyone get's the chance to listen to the commentary when Kane fouled Stirling, then do so. They talk about the ref not seeing it more than how bad the tackle was. It was a straight red all day long.

Saw Kane’s. Terrible challenge. I’ve seen people get straight red for lesser tackles. He’s lucky Sterling wasn’t badly injured and he’s very lucky that being who he is stopped him getting sent off.
No question that almost anyone else would have walked for that. If it were Arnie or Carroll they’d have seen red before they’d got up off their backsides.

To add- only possible excuse was that the red was looking the other way when it happened. However, so was the red last season for Feghouli/Jones. Didn’t stop Feghouli getting sent off. That was a big club decision that absolutely stank.

There should be retrospective action if it's deemed that a yellow card is not enough of a punishment.
Either that or just leave it to the referee on the day.That includes simulation which is now ruining the game.

Alli's was even worse, snidey and cynical. Could have ended De Bruyne's season or even career, as could have Kane's on Sterling, but I feel his was more of a frustrated rush of blood. Alli knew exactly what he was doing. Spiteful little cunt.
